Title: Supervisor Lab Draw Site

Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Arts Building

Responsibilities:

• Works under the direction of the Outreach Laboratory Director
• Manages the work processes in the areas of collection
• Receiving and processing of outreach specimens for testing
• Communications with nursing/clients regarding patient specimens
• Refers specimens to outside laboratories
• Development of policies and procedures
• Assisting in various projects
• Interacts with physicians/clients/staff
• Prioritizes, delegates and coordinates the technical and administrative functions of the various outreach areas.
• Must have Cerner LIS and Invision - SMS knowledge

Experience:

• Required - 3 years Laboratory Related

Education:

• Required - High School or Equivalent
• Preferred - Associates in Related Field

Certification:

• Required - Phlebotomy or Medical Lab Assistant certification

Location: Tampa Florida

Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

Shift Hours: 6:30am - 5:00pm

Weekend Work: Occasional
