Summary:

• The Systems Analyst under minimal supervision, provides customer support for Information Technology related issues in designated areas of the health system.
• Technical responsibilities include maintaining a working knowledge of customers daily operations to ensure superior technical support, identifying process improvements based on customer's needs and troubleshooting and providing client support for systems and applications.
• IT Knowledge of the HealthCare Systems Revenue Cycle.
• IT Knowledge of Healthcare Charge, HIM, Billing, and Patient Financial Systems workflows and processing.
• IT Knowledge of and experience in healthcare application configuration and setup.
• IT Knowledge working in a HealthCare application (Cerner Millennium, Cerner Soarian, Siemens Invision, Meditech, EPIC, etc.
• IT Knowledge and experience running small to medium size projects.
• The Systems Analyst may participate in Project Management from inception to completion and performs other duties as assigned.
• Competent to work in most phases of systems analysis but may require guidance in others.
• An understanding of relevant technology, tools, and methods is required.
• A sound knowledge of at least one core technical area or business process is required.
• Required experience includes 6 years of Systems Analysis, Design and/or Support, or 2 years' experience required with a bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field.
