Summary:
The Registered Dietitian I is responsible to provide optimal medical nutrition therapy to patients, individuals or groups through comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management, treatment and/or prevention. Defines nutritional status, makes recommendations and implements nutrition interventions. Required Licensure includes Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida, or successful completion of national registration and state licensure within 6 months of employment. Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23. A graduate degree includes a master’s degree, practice doctorate, doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD or, DSc).
