The Outpatient Bariatric Registered Dietitian I is responsible for:

• Medical nutrition therapy to bariatric patients
• Comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management
• Treatment and prevention
• Make recommendations and implement nutrition intervention
• Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23. A graduate degree includes a master’s degree, practice doctorate, doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD or, DSc).

Certifications and Licensures

• Required - RD (Registered Dietitian)
• National Registration and State licensure within 6 months of employment

Education

• Required - Bachelor's in Related Filed
• Preferred - Master's

Experience

• Preferred - 2 Years Bariatric related

Specific Skills

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Written verbal communication skills
• Computer skills appropriate to the position
