Summary:

• The Licensed Practical Nurse Graduate - Inpatient (GPN) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and cares for a group of patients.
• While in the GPN role, they collaborate with their RN and/or LPN preceptor in the delivery of patient care.
• Assignments are completed with increasing competence and responsibility.
• Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship.
• SIPP ONLY: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required - Less than 6 months acute care experience as a Patient Care Tech or less than 6 months acute care as an LPN
• Preferred - 1 year - Hospital in related field

• Required - HS Graduate or Equivalent GED

• Required - FL LPN
• Required BLS

Location: Mease Countryside Hospital

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Weekend Work: Every Other
