**After 6 months of training, this is a fully remote Laboratory Customer Service position. **

Location:Mease Countryside Eastlake Outpatient

Status:Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours:11:30am-8:00pm

Responsibilities:

The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for:

• Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing

• Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens

• Referring specimens to outside laboratories

• Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests

• Performance of phlebotomy procedures

• Performs other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Required 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field

Education:

• Required High School or equivalent

• Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience

Credentials:

• Drivers License

Credential equivalent experience:

• Preferred Phlebotomy
