Intake Specialist responsibilities:

• Provides emergency psychiatric evaluations for all persons of all ages in the Hospital's Emergency Center.
• Handles all requests for all psychiatric services from other agencies, individuals or other departments.
• Maintains statistics related to Intake Services.
• Provides clinical reviews for managed care organizations when not involved with E.C. responsibilities.
• Provides basic psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patients on Inpatient psychiatric units.

Required Education:

• High School or Equivalent
• Bachelors in a related field - preferred

Required Experience:

• 1 year - Psychology
• 3 years - Preferred

Required Qualifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Shift Hours: 6:45 PM-7:15 AM

Weekend Work: Every Other
