BayCare is currently in search of our newest Behavioral Health Office Representative, who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

Behavioral Health Office Representative supports the behavioral health office care team, greets, registers and checks in patients, obtains and updates patient information, schedules patient appointments, assists with patient inquiries, may arrange for additional services, collects and posts payments, assists with patient billing questions, ensures completion of all encounter documentation prior to check out.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules patients with appropriate provider, answers phones and responds within time frames defined by departmental guidelines.
• Obtains complete and accurate patient registration information according to department standards.
• Reviews and confirms all registration information is accurate at each appointment and makes any required updates.
• Consistently reviews cancellation, displaced patients, and appointment requests worklist throughout the day.
• Reviews daily schedules for availability and coordinates with onsite supervisor to ensure providers' schedules are at capacity.

Experience:

• 1 year - Related Field

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
