Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group is a physician-led medical group actively recruiting for a board certified/board eligible General Surgeon to join our General Surgery team located at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Experience is preferred, but newly graduated physicians are welcome to apply. Bartow, Florida is in a growing community conveniently nestled between Tampa and Orlando, with a dynamic clinical team of nurses and doctors. This role is focused on covering the on call needs of the hospital while also looking to build a general surgery practice. The right doctor will enjoy the chance to operate independently as one of two primary surgeons providing care to the community.

Our practice consists of:

• Shared call schedule of approximately 10-15 days per month
• Commencement bonus paid upon employment
• Call is based out of Bartow Regional Medical Center (88 beds)
• Modern and well-equipped community hospital with demonstrated volume
• Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience are encouraged to apply
• Excellent operating room and resources with a supportive administration

Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgery.
