Bayada is Hiring a Clinical Manager Near Gaithersburg, MD

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring an experienced nurse leader to fill the role of Nurse Manager in our Gaithersburg, MD office. This Medicare-certified home health office provides nursing and therapy for adults and seniors in senior living facilities -- helping our clients get better and stay out of the hospital and giving their families and loved ones peace of mind.

The Nurse Manager leads field staff on client service, clinical excellence, quality and adherence to policies and procedures. This position is accountable for document review, field staff evaluation and development, and ensures adherence to regulations. The successful candidate will possess prior experience providing clinical oversight, guidance and judgment to care teams. Prior management and home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence, reliability
  • Minimum of 2 years RN experience
  • Leadership experience highly desired (i.e. preceptor, charge nurse, nurse manager)
  • Previous home health experience is highly desired

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and communicate The BAYADA Way core values - compassion, excellence, and reliability
  • Supervise a team of nurses and therapists; provide ongoing education, coaching/feedback​
  • Develop care plans and oversee execution of care plans
  • Review OASIS workflows and approve all clinical documentation (i.e. start of care, medication management, equipment orders)
  • Make routine supervisory visits to assess client progress and staff competency
  • Infection control reporting
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring and onboarding field and office staff​
  • Act as a point of contact for clients for concerns, questions, or issues
