Qualifications for Certified Nursing Assistant
- The state of Delaware has a requirement that all CNA need to be certified along with proof of training (75 hours or more)
- Must be a certified nursing assistant
- At least 1 year of experience as an CNA
Job Responsibilities for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs):
- Activities of daily living
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
