Bay View Association (BVA) is an independent 501(c)(3) and Bay View Real Estate Management, Inc. (REM) is a c-corporation/ subsidiary of BVA. BVA is a National Historic Landmark (https://www.miplace.org/historic-preservation/programs-andservices/historic-landmarks/bay-view-association/) that currently has 445 Victorian cottages, 2 hotels, 30 historic buildings, and 900 members. Bay View is a Chautauqua on Lake Michigan, offering four program areas: Performing Arts, Worship & Religious Life, Education, and Recreation. Cottages may be occupied from May through October.

POSITION SUMMARY Seasonal employment. Expected start date: immediately

Grounds crew employees work together to complete a large variety of tasks. Tasks Include but are not limited to leaf blowing, event setup, lawn maintenance, landscaping, trail maintenance and much more.

Past experience with outdoor maintenance IE: golf course maintenance, landscaping, home yard maintenance (not required). Agree to background check, must have valid driver’s license; must be capable of lifting 50 Pounds, willing to work in all weather, willing to work outdoors. Seasonal full-time and seasonal part-time available, Monday-Friday. Boots and uniform provided.
