Commercial Construction Project Manager

Company Level Objectives

  • Project Team Captain responsible for charting out key project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, selecting project participants, and ensuring financial success of the project.
  • Optimum utilization of resources- including labor, materials equipment, and team member resources to achieve shared goals.
  • Implementation of various operations through proper coordination.
  • Development of effective communication mechanisms for resolving conflicts among all project stakeholders including Clients, Subcontractors, Inspectors, and the like.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline or 5 years’ experience
  • 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on multifamily, hotel or high-rise construction projects preferred.
  • Strong computer skills are a necessity, including familiarity with construction project management applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and are required to interface directly with trade contractors, owners' representatives, the design team, building departments and other team members
  • Strong leadership skills are required
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Project management finance skills are required
  • Must be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather
  • Served as the primary point of contact with owners/clients, architects, trade partners, and other industry representatives
  • Lead project teams and delegate roles and responsibilities.
  • Familiar use with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, and Outlook

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
