Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Route/Assistant Manager Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing routes as well as assisting with managerial tasks.

Route Driver Responsibilities:

• Perform daily safety inspections on your company supplied pickup truck and cargo trailer.
• Drive to various locations emptying textile collection containers.
• Weigh the collections and record weights at each location.
• Keep track of your purchases and mileage.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

• Training new drivers.
• Inspect driver's daily route logs.
• End of day procedures.
• Oversee the safety of the other vehicles in our fleet.
• Oversee and directly manage collection bin condition and decals.
• DOT safety equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Assisting with route scheduling.

Requirements:

• Trailer towing experience recommended, but not required.
• Must be able to problem solve.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must represent the company in a professional manner while on the road.
• Record keeping and light paperwork throughout the day is necessary.
• Organizational and time management skills are a must.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to be active consistently throughout the day.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

One week of paid corporate training will be completed at our headquarters in Kingston, Massachusetts. Lodging and food allowance will be provided. This will be explained more during the interview process.

First interview will be over the phone, a second interview will be conducted via Zoom, followed by a third in-person interview.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
