Bay Paws Pet Resort in Tampa, FL is looking for a Custodial Facility Technician experienced and knowledgeable in cleaning and sanitation to help provide the cleanest facility in the industry! As our Custodial Facility Technician, you are not expected to partake in any pet handling or husbandry, but should be comfortable around dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all areas are kept clean with thorough sweeping and moping
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
• Clean, dust, and wipe equipment, furniture, fixtures, etc. as needed
• Maintain exterior of facility and outside grounds by performing various clean-up duties, such as vacuuming daycare turf and weeding
• Maintain interior lobby area and storage room
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such
• Follow safe operating and use procedures when utilizing cleaning solutions, machinery, etc.

Who You Are/ Qualifications:

• Previous experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery as needed
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Must be able to work independently

· The schedule can be flexible, though evenings are preferred
