Bay Human Services Inc is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Near Saginaw, MI

 

Seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist that has experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide 1:1 speech therapy to individuals across 4 centers in three counties: Bay County, Saginaw County, and Gratiot County.

Our goal at Bay Human Services is to provide outstanding services to the families and individuals we serve, while providing a safe and friendly learning environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, clinical observations, and create plans of care that are tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and skills. 
  • Write reports and maintain proper documentation and information. 
  • Identify and introduce new ideas and solutions to create efficiency in operations or services.
  • Teach alternative communication such as sign language to individuals with little or no speech capability 
  • Willing to collaborate and communicate progress and needs to families, behavior technicians, BCBA’s, caregivers, and other professional that work with the individuals. 

Job Type: Full-time

 Qualifications: 

  • Must hold a qualifying degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • An active state license is required where services are being provided to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certification is required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record
  • Travel to all locations (Bay, Saginaw, Gratiot Counties)
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) is preferred
