Bay-CSS is seeking a dynamic, creative, and positive leader to manage a premier group home in Waldorf, Maryland. As the Residential Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to build your team and make a significant difference in the lives of Direct Support Professionals and the individuals we serve. In this role, you will supervise, maintain, and provide support services to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting, ensuring services are implemented according to clients' Individual Plans (I.P.) within the scope of Bay-CSS policies, procedures, and COMAR regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring the provision of high-quality support and care to individuals with disabilities.
- Train and supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Implement person-centered approaches and strategies to support the unique needs and goals of each individual.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and integrate services that enhance the overall well-being of residents.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Handle any escalated issues or concerns from residents, staff, or external parties with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the human services field or 1 year of management experience in the human services field.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to legally work in the US and be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to become DOT Physical Certified and pass drug screening.
