POSITION BRIEF: The Maintenance Assistant supports all aspects of camp operations with an emphasis on building and grounds upkeep, program support, and facility cleanliness. The maintenance assistant interacts positively with campers, staff, guests, and community members and responds to requests in a professional, timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Education: High School diploma (minimum 18 years of age); must have valid driver’s license

· Experience: Previous experience in grounds keeping and/or custodial work preferred

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Demonstrate strict adherence to Bay Cliff safety procedures and practices

· Mow lawns and trim around buildings

· Provide facility maintenance as directed

· Provide custodial services as directed

· Maintain and stock campsites

· Assist in the loading and transfer of food service items/products

· Transport campers/staff/recreation equipment to off-site locations

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist departmental leaders with their assigned programs

· Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Administrative Team

o Ability to climb in and out of high-step vehicles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
