Volt is immediately hiring for Industrial Maintenance Technician in Gardena, CA. This successful candidate is an expert in troubleshooting/repairing any mechanical AND electrical issue - Fixing all types of equipment in the facility. (10 years of experience)
Compensation: $35-$50/ Hr. (Negotiable)
Schedule: 1st shift – 4AM- 12:30-PM with OT
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Mechanical - Able to do any machine mechanical repair and or rebuild, alignment such as spindle to spindle and y-axis, pull and replace machine such as axis linear guides and ball screws, rebuild/overhaul any spindle including pulling out any integrated spindle motor stator, and work with complex NC machine such as CTV 250.
• Electrical & Electronic - Diagnose, locate, and correct malfunctions of electrical & electronic system such as machine controls, recorders, servo/axis drives, servo motors, defective transformers, relays, contactors, fuses, sensors, etc.
• Plan, layout, and fabricate replacement parts for major rebuilding of precision machine tools where set up and operation to exacting tolerances is required.
• Plan methods required to maintain, test, repair, or modify various types of industrial electronic controls and systems.
• Interface with manufacturers online tech support when needed.
• Recommend improved work methods and procedures, assist in training employs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10 years of experience troubleshooting any mechanical AND electrical repair or rebuild.
• Expert knowledge in electrical and electronic diagnostic as well as repair and rebuild.
• Ability to fix all types of equipment in the facility, expert in all facility repairs issues.
• A high-level knowledge of part holding methods and procedures.
• A high-level knowledge NC equipment, electrical and electronic controls
• The ability to interact with computers, CNC controls, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems at high level.
• The ability to read electrical and machine drawings and diagrams at a high level.
• The ability to perform complex Preventive Maintenance for all NC, lathes, etc.
