Infant Mental Health Specialist

$1000 Signing Bonus! Provides services to optimize the social, emotional and cognitive development of infants who are at risk of experiencing disorders in attachment and separation with their primary care givers. Provides psychotherapeutic intervention, developmental guidance, case management and crisis intervention. Provides consultation and education to the community.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Master’s Degree in social work, clinical psychology or psychiatric nursing with current Michigan licensure appropriate to field of study is required. Experience providing services to infants and/or families, consultation activities and crisis intervention required along with knowledge of emotional disorders, child development, family dynamics, psychosocial assessment and treatment techniques. Current Infant Mental Health endorsement or willingness to attain the endorsement required.

Pay: $54,582.00 - $67,388.00 per year
