Cosmetology Instructor for High School Students *URGENT*

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Cosmetology Instructor to join our high school program. This role involves teaching high school students the foundational skills and techniques of cosmetology, preparing them for a successful career in the beauty industry. The instructor will deliver hands-on basic lessons in hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and skin care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cosmetology curriculum for high school students.
• Teach simple techniques in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and basic skin and nail care.
• Monitor and report on student progress and conduct practical assessments.
• Ensure compliance with state cosmetology license requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Engage with students to foster a positive learning experience and encourage creativity.

Summer Program Schedule:

• June 10th to July 12th
• 2 days a week
• two different locations

Qualifications:

• Valid cosmetology instructor license or ability to obtain one before commencement.
• Proven experience in cosmetology, with a strong portfolio of skills.
• Prior teaching experience, especially at the secondary education level, is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teenagers.
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with industry trends.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
