Job Description

This position will include helping brake operators, delivering parts, unloading lasers, cleaning, and sweeping. In addition, there is limited time running a drill press, a forming machine, running a shear and / or a punch press, which are set-up / programmed by a sheet shop operator.

Good mechanical aptitude a must. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instruction.

Good attendance and ability to work safely are necessary.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform job tasks according to schedules, using established safe methods and processes.
• This job is working in the sheet shop as an Operator.
• This position will include running a drill press, a forming machine, operating a shear and / or a punch press, and cleaning and sweeping.
• Duties may include the use of : Tape measure and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Work independently towards the goals of the team.
• Good mechanical aptitude a must.
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instruction.

Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED and must be 18 years old. Good mechanical aptitude a must. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Good attendance and ability to work safely are necessary
