As a Pharmacy Sales Specialist, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. As our primary connection to the healthcare professionals who rely on our products to save and sustain lives, you are the face and voice of our solutions. The insights and feedback you share with your team and to cross-functional partners help validate and inform priorities and changes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of our pharmacy portfolio which includes disposables, premix and nutritional products and services
  • Call on hospital customers with a primary focus on the pharmacy department, master effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices
  • Monitor sales against forecasts, implement sales strategies to attain sales volume and participate in the determination of market potential for the territory
  • Work closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Provide customer feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the potential development of marketing policy, product and pricing
  • Promote the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelors Degree with 3 years experience or 6 years of relevant experience
  • Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills
  • Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies
  • Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel
  • Demonstrate an eye for business and strong knowledge of sales processes
  • Previous hospital pharmacy sales experience is a plus
  • Candidate must live within the Territory

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $60,000 to $132,000 plus a commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
