Your Role :

The Sr Payroll Administrator will provide operational support to outsourced third-party payroll processor to ensure accurate and timely payments to employees.

Act as relationship manager to their cross-functional teams including : Payroll Services, Customer Service, Tax Filing, Garnishment, and Overpayment Shared Services.

What You Will Be Doing :

Analyzes, audits, validates, and prepares control totals from the timekeeping solution for payroll processing in accordance with the payroll schedule.

Runs standard reports to identify exception time situations.

  • Prepare and upload necessary pay components to support weekly and / or monthly processing.
  • Escalates complex timekeeping & attendance issues and follows through to resolution, ensuring appropriate communication to all involved parties.
  • Direct management and employees to Timekeeping & Attendance resources; including Job Aids, MicroLearnings and BaxU trainings.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to the shared Payroll inbox and partner ticketing management system.
  • Generates and distributes standard and ad hoc payroll reports as needed for internal finance and operational departments to track labor costs.
  • Develops close working relationships with internal partners such as the Finance & Accounting teams, Benefits, IT, etc.

Assist in audits related to payroll processes and provide necessary documentation.

What You Need :

  • A minimum of 3 years of payroll experience that demonstrates a strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience WorkDay Payroll and UKG WorkForce Central (WFC) systems.
  • Ensure operations are performed in compliance with company policies, country, state / province, and local laws.
  • Demonstrate strong customer services skills.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
  • Displays a customer focused work ethic with the ability to interact with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, and the capacity complete tasks on time.
  • Performs basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
