As a Respiratory Health Account Executive, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your Team

The Account Executive at Baxter Respiratory Health is primarily responsible for selling Respiratory Health products to clients outside the hospital including physician offices, clinics, home care and long-term care facilities, etc. Additionally, the Account Executive is responsible for working collaboratively with internal partners, developing, and implementing comprehensive strategic territory sales plans for all Baxter Respiratory Health products, programs, and services. This position manages both clinical and financial aspects of the account to provide ultimate customer happiness.

  • Homebase: New York, NY; preferred Syracuse, NY or Skaneateles Falls, NY

  • Territory: Upstate New York, NY

  • Travel: up to 75%, with overnight regional travel expected, occasional National travel possible

  • Fleet Vehicle will be provided when available

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate new sales opportunities and maintain existing business

  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual quotas assigned by the corporation

  • Conduct negotiations and finalize sales

  • Lead the sales specialists and services personnel to drive new deals

  • Oversee the installation of new products post-delivery to the customers

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Sales experience preferred but open to recent grads, preferably selling medical equipment

  • Clinical experience in a Respiratory environment a plus

  • Exceptional communication skills and public speaking

  • High level of motivation, drive, resilience, commitment, and professionalism

  • Excellent influential skills

  • Ability to execute strong strategy plans, and to bring tasks to completion

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $52,800 to $132,000 plus an annual incentive bonus, commission target, and equity target (strike any, if not applicable). The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
