Your Purpose as the Director, Organizational Effectiveness & Belonging:

In this role you will lead, coordinate, and execute on the organizational effectiveness, diversity, inclusion, and belonging practices, tools, platforms, and programs to positively impact the employee experience at Baxter Auto Group.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Effectively implements and executes a modern talent and culture model and strategy across all stores
  • Can collaborate across all areas including HR team members, General Managers and other Store Leaders, to create and ensure effective implementation and execution of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging strategies
  • Lead the You Belong @ Baxter employee belonging group and coordinate belonging related learning content and events
  • Coordinates the management succession and growth planning process ensuring strong management bench strength
  • Continually evolves the agile performance and growth process via regular “check-in” model focused on two-way dialogue and feedback
  • Designs and continually evolves an effective onboarding process for both leaders and employees
  • Assists with the design and facilitation of effective leadership development programs for all levels of employees
  • Builds effective partnerships with other HR team members, General Managers, other store leaders and shared services leaders
  • Stays current and informed on industry and general market best practices, trends, etc. to better enable a continuously evolving modern talent management model and approach

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Progressive experience in organizational effectiveness or related area, including assessing organizations and designing and implementing organizational development initiatives.
  • 7 years of business operational, human resources, and/or talent management leadership experience beneficial
  • Strong collaboration and communication capabilities and critical thinking skillsets to develop and effectively maintain partnerships internally and externally.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging best practices.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proactively seeks out and welcomes diverse perspectives

Additional Qualifications:

  • Certification in Hogan Leadership Assessment preferred.
  • Ability to effectively interact and engage with all levels of roles from operational and client-facing roles within the stores to senior-level executives including store General Managers
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and courage to appropriately challenge
  • Ability to coach key stakeholders, peers, and team members
  • Exceptionally adaptable to change
  • Experience in fast-paced environment
  • A team-first always perspective with a desire to win together attitude.
