OBJECTIVES/
PURPOSE OF JOB
Perform specific duties per Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Inspection Forms, either using both hands or by using gauges/machinery.
KEY ACTIVITIES/
RESPONSIBILITIES
Must complete all baseline training.
Work with little or no direction after being assigned.
Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of finished disposable laser probes, endoilluminators and other similar devices.
Perform inspection of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of medical devices, partially assembled, or finished medical devices.
Complete appropriate inspection documentation and perform inventory transactions in inventory management system.
Perform other duties not listed.
Able to keep a clean and organized work environment.
Able to stand for long periods.
Able to sit for extended periods.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Follow all safety requirements.
Able to accurately complete all documents.
Good understanding of inspection and test techniques.
Assist in the establishment and update of quality system documentation relevant to the QC department as needed.

Position typically supports one functional area of QI department objectives.
All work performed must be completed with the highest Quality standards possible.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Must be able to communicate and work as a team in a diverse culture within the department and facility.
Must be able to communicate to others outside of the department effectively and respectfully.
QUALIFICATIONS/
TRAINING
Required Education:
High School Diploma (or equivalent). May consider previous work experience of in a Quality role.

Ability to work independently.
Experience in Microsoft programs, inventory management systems, document control systems, lab data systems and visual inspection software are preferred.
Ability to communicate and work well with others, good oral and written skills.
Familiar with component, raw materials, and labelling techniques.

Quality Inspection experience.
ISO 9001/ISO 13485 manufacturing background desirable.
Working in an FDA/GMP regulated environment to include “Clean Rooms” and all restrictions that are associated with a clean room environment.
Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures.
