Computer Tech main functions:

• Should be able to Install, modify, and make minor repairs to computer hardware and software in outdoor kiosks.
• Maintain and Test and make sure all components installed in the kiosks are running accordingly
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

• Windows:
  • Install / uninstall software & drivers
  • Troubleshot Windows errors
  • Install, update hardware & drivers
  • Licenses
  • Device Manager
  • Network setup / monitoring: Lan & Wifi, TCP/IP
  • CMD

• Peripherals / Hardware:
  • USB Cameras
  • Network Hub, Router, 4G modem
  • Touch devices via USB
  • Bluetooth
  • Must be able to use tools to install / uninstall hardware and components in the kiosk

• Electricity:
  • 110v / 240v / 12 v circuits
  • Power units
  • Wiring

• Screens:
  • Install and replace 55” or 65” displays in a kiosk
  • Knowledge of outdoor nano touch film and how to install, diagnose, fix or replace

• Maintenance:
  • Clean, check air flow and change air filters
  • Maintain and replace any fans or cooling equipment

Education & Experience Requirements:

Technical degree or above in computer science, information systems, or related field.

Prior experience working with hardware & software, in IT, or similar technical function

Handy Man, must be able to work with confidence with tools, electronics and computer related hardware and software.

Basic knowledge of networking principles. Prior experience as an AV technician working with video networks, video walls, touchscreen kiosks and installation is a plus.
