Baudville Brands is Hiring a Production Associate Near Grand Rapids, MI
- Assemble and organize customized employee service award packets according to specific directions as requested by clients.
- Ability to assist in the management and printing of customer data using Microsoft Excel and Word through merged fields and other filtering options to prepare for the assembly of service award packets.
- Work with company leadership and sales staff to create sample packets to be delivered to potential clients.
- Meet and exceed customer expectations by preparing, organizing, and shipping RecogNation products via UPS, FedEx, and USPS using different software programs in a timely manner.
- Prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly work based on customer deadlines, size of order, time to ship, etc.
- Work with Production Team Lead to ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained at all times to fulfill client orders and avoid fulfillment delays. Assist with cycle counts when needed.
- Keep inventory organized and easily accessible at all time. Requires moving boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs. daily.
- Perform general “housekeeping” tasks daily (i.e. empty recycling bins, trash containers and cardboard bins daily.)
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Use office and production equipment following standard safety and operating procedures.
- Maintaining a 99.85% accuracy rating on all awards built, checked, and shipped.
- Demonstrate successful printing, building, and shipping all RecogNation’s client’s projects.
- Self-sufficiency in day-to-day tasks to operate nearly autonomously.
- Collaboration with team members and outside departments to successfully complete projects.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Proficient use of computers including Microsoft Excel and Word
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting
- Proven ability to work effectively independently, with teammates, cross-functionally with customer service, sales, and leadership, with vendors, and shipping partners.
- Maintain open communication with Production Team Lead to avoid potential problems, bringing to their attention any mechanical or material issues in a timely manner.
- Proven ability to effectively manage work time and have a willingness to perform miscellaneous job-related duties when time allows.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and have the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
