JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Full-Time Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. They will have a keen eye for detail, a creative mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. The Video Editor will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our church's vision and values.

Our video productions play a crucial role in conveying our message effectively and creatively.

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, compelling videos for various church events, services, and outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards that effectively communicate our message.
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content.
• Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the overall quality of the videos.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software.
• Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an efficient workflow and file structure.
• Attend production meetings and provide input on video production strategies and goals.
• Occasionally assist with on-site video recording and live-streaming during church services and events.
• Perform other church duties as assigned to help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ

CORE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, as well as other relevant editing software and plugins.
• Solid understanding of video codecs, formats, and color grading techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and requirements.
• A passion for storytelling and a commitment to delivering high-quality video content that resonates with our audience.
• Previous experience working with a church or religious organization (preferred but not required).
