Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an undergraduate intern for its Information Technology organization. Reporting to the IT Division Director, this position will focus on Enterprise Architecture.

As an Enterprise Architecture Intern, you will perform work in accordance with the direction provided by the mentor which may include; learn and achieve understanding of the first line IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance application of risk management, control management, and policy management. You will work on multiple aspects within the ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) module, and ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management module. You will also work with key business stake holders to create a documented workflow of controls and evidence collection through Attestations, Risk Assessments, and Policy Management through acknowledgement campaigns, and other Risk and Policy objects within ServiceNow. With collaboration from the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Enterprise Applications team, you will analyze data and compile plans to address end-of-life and/or redundant applications and translate data into real-time dashboards to create roadmaps. You will assist other Enterprise Architects in the discussion of requirements for design, implementation, and deployment of functionality for potentially various software development initiatives.

This team works a 9x80 hybrid schedule at our Idaho National Lab Administration Building facility near Idaho Falls, Idaho.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
  • Undergraduate student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Information, Information Systems or related fields.
  • A minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT).

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Undergraduate Internships ($25.65/hour - $30.70/hour)
  • Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75/hour - $34.06/hour)
  • PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour - $36.06/hour)
  • Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.
  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on degree field and level of education.
