What you’ll do
In this role, you will be a member of the Billing Team responsible for (but not limited to) monthly client billings. You will also:
  • Follow established billing process to produce accurate and timely client proformas and invoices.
  • Generate monthly and ad hoc proformas; work with Project Managers to process adjustments and generate final invoices for clients.
  • Maintain project billing files.
  • Responsible for new matter set up in the accounting system. Maintain timekeeper teams, billing rates and instructions, and other necessary matter information.
  • Responsible for cash receipts and application in the finance system.
  • Communicate with internal clients to ensure client bills meet requirements and facilitates timely collections.
  • Assist Project Managers with ad hoc time and expense record inquiries and collection efforts.
What you’ll bring to the table
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • 2 years billing experience in a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP accounting systems.
  • Ability to work successfully both individually and as a member of a team.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel advanced formulas, (e.g., vlookup and pivot tables).
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks at one time, handle short deadlines, work well under pressure, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • May require more than 40.0 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
