Bass Pro is Hiring a CLUB Retail Operations Specialist I Near Lincoln, NE

POSITION SUMMARY:

Retail Operations Specialists are responsible for the execution of various corporate programs that support the operational and employee engagement with the CLUB program in all US Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's locations. Works with various stakeholders at Corporate and throughout the country as part of leading projects of various sizes. This position will receive heavy leadership support and priority alignment in the execution of processes that impact process oversight, scorekeeping, communication, and overall vision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Executes existing retail operational strategies that include CLUB acquisition, retention, and customer experience performance. Creates and performs various levels of tracking and basic analysis to measure effectiveness towards key business drivers and communicate results effectively.

  • Executes processes that support retail operational and marketing strategies. Leverages a strong innovative mindset to identify and execute process improvements.

  • Supports and manages small to medium size projects in partnership with CLUB Retail Operations leadership including managing project expenses to budget. Develops and oversees communication to retail end users.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external partners through regular communication. Works effectively within assigned team to execute projects/direction and keep stakeholders informed. Coordinates and executes training on projects.

  • Ensures project and process execution aligns with relevant organizational policies. Leverages a strong skillset of critical thinking to Identify and resolve issues.

  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Associates Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, Training/Learning and Development or a related field

  • Preferred Degree: Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, Training/Learning and Development or a related field

  • Experience: 2-4 years

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Analysis and project management experience preferred

  • Effective communication (written and verbal)

  • Self-starter: demonstrates personal initiative and willingly assumes responsibility and ownership

  • Apply critical thinking behaviors and principles to projects and workload

  • Ability to facilitate working relationships with internal and external customers

  • Customer focused behavior

  • Exemplary standards of integrity, personal work ethic and continuous involvement in self-education and development

  • Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software

  • Ability to consistently exceed customer expectations and show commitment to the Company's Core Values

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Up to 10% for training, partner collaboration, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regular computer work, and sitting

  • Occasional walking, standing, and lifting up to 50lbs

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

  • Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
