BASS MEDICAL GROUP is Hiring a Back Office Medical Assistant Near Hanford, CA

Description

Our Hanford practice is seeking a Full Time Back Office Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team. 
This position will consist of but is not limited to the following: 
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Answering patient calls
  • Scanning and faxing 
  • Vital intake
  • Insurance knowledge
  • Data entry into EHR
  • Referrals
  • and/or other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Mandatory Qualification

  • Excellent customer service
  • Medical terminology
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills,
  • Strong computer skills
  • Comfort with interacting with elderly and disabled 

Preferred Qualifications

  • EHR system experience (eCW)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$15.00-$41.50/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*

The patey scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
