The Opportunity 

If you were to join Basis Technologies in our Delivery Consultant position, you can expect:

• Technical depth: Support with technical project preparation activities, assist with Client software installation, guide customers through user creation and role assignments, RFC destination setup and all necessary base configuration to support implementation, upgrade and services projects.

• Customer centric: Guide and support the Client team through project technical prerequisite steps that are the foundational elements for a successful customer engagement.

• Cross-functional collaboration:Facilitate the preparation of the customer landscape for effective project handover to the Lead Delivery Consultants, gather information on customer requirements, and provide critical details to the project team, to ensure alignment of the solution with Client expectations.

Is this opportunity for you?

To help you establish whether this role is for you, these are the key foundational characteristics you will need to be set up for success:

• SAP Basis Admin: Foundational experience in standard SAP Basis Administration activities, including routine maintenance, RFC destination setup, table maintenance, change and transport management, STMS configuration, profile parameter maintenance, basic SAP troubleshooting, and user maintenance.

• SAP roles and authorizations: Basic understanding of the purpose and function of SAP role creation and assignment, authorization objects and values, and SAP security troubleshooting.

• Technical Transport Management: A working understanding of SAP TMS, transport routes and configuration, transport types, and transport creation.

• Remote Function Call interfaces: Foundational understanding of RFC destination maintenance, troubleshooting, and purpose.

• Strong communication skills: Experienced in communicating with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally

• Analytical skills: Data driven mentality with attention to detail

• Accountability: Experience in managing multiple deadlines and projects, taking ownership and initiative, comfortable with working remotely across multiple time zones.

Desirable Skills:

• 1-2 years of consulting experience

• Experience of managing Stakeholders, across a range of seniorities

• Understanding/Experience of Basis Technologies’ Active Control.
