Basic Needs Thrift Shop is Hiring a Store Associate Near Cottage Grove, MN
- Handle cash and credit sales, and close out till at the end of the day as needed
- Process, price and shelve incoming products
- Assist in cleaning and maintenance of the store
- Maintain shelf organization & stocking.
- Run the register, make sales, answer customers' questions, and channel customer complaints to proper avenues.
- Be able to lift 40 pounds
- Receive donations which is very busy and physical job.
- Must be able to be on your feet for up to 7 hours.
- Proactively communicate with management, staff, & volunteers
- Provide a safe and welcoming retail environment to customers of all abilities/experience
- Hours range from 15-20 hours/week and include Saturdays
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Shift:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
