Job Summary:

Basic Engineering Concepts & Technologies, Inc. (BecTech) is a Small Business Program Management and Engineering Services provider to Department of Defense (DoD) Agencies. BecTech is seeking professional candidates to fill the position of full-time Configuration Manager in Crystal City, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
• Individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
• Individual shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance.

Required Education/Experience:

• Requires minimum of 7 years of experience; More than 10 years of experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team.
• Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Possess good communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to obtain and retain a security clearance.

ADA SPECIFICATIONS:

• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
• Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel: Less than 5% expected
