Baseline Energy Svc is Hiring a DIRECTOR OF IT Near Fort Worth, TX

Position Overview: 

The Director of Information Technology (IT) Mission: The Director of IT is responsible for being the “Implementer and Executor” for the CFO regarding reinforcement of Baseline’s value driven mission. This role will report to and consult frequently with Baseline’s CFO for proper direction and approvals. The Director of IT will be expected to work masterfully and efficiently to deliver the company’s long-term growth plans with the highest standards of excellence and operating discipline.

Position Responsibilities:

The Director of IT will conduct the following responsibilities with mastery, excellence, cost-consciousness, and a focus on continuous improvement to support the company’s long-term business strategy. In addition, the Director of IT will bring a collaborative approach to working with the Chief Financial Officers on progress, initiatives, goals, and results related to the following responsibilities:

System Implementation:

Plans and directs professional implementation service operations and resources to deploy technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Oversees technology consultants and implementation specialists who interface with Baseline to implement technical solutions.

Project Management:

Assesses organizational requirements, develops scopes and estimates, creates project plans and schedules to ensure that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet organization expectations. Ensures that the timelines, planning, scoping, and cost estimates support successful projects that meet the needs of the organization.

Technical Services:

Responsible for the development, deployment, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise hardware, software, and networking systems. Recommends, implements, and maintains network architectures (LAN and WAN). Responsible for all aspects of an organization’s network systems including software and hardware.

Information Technology and Systems:

Ensure ongoing process automation, procedure development, and other process improvements using digital, software, and network tools to the extent possible utilizing company resources (RigER, Quickbooks, ADP, Concur, and Samsara).

Other Responsibilities:

  • Conduit between the organization and internal partners in finding the right solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and prepare business cases for projects.
  • Establish and maintain high levels of organizational satisfaction.
  • Educate the organization in how to manage, navigate their portals, and how that impacts the employee population.
  • Communicate formally and informally to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Act as the voice of the organization during policy, process, and solutioning discussions.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in business, business administration, computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Agile, APIs, SaaS, Restful APIs, Cloud, SQL, and Agile software and systems.
  • Demonstrated time management and critical thinking skills with an eye on continuous improvement.
  • Prior experience as a consultant is a plus.
  • Collaborator with demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable onboarding and computing on the job.
