BARWIS is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist that has multiple years of experience with Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Billing. This experience should include: insurance verification, claims submissions, Complete prior authorizations for services, Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to determine patient responsibility, reviewing outstanding EOB's for non-payment and initiate proper protocol for collection, processing and appealing denials from various insurance companies, collecting on self pay accounts as well as worker's compensation and automobile claims, answering incoming patient and insurance calls, complete medical records request and the like.

Successful candidate will be detailed oriented and self motivated to work in an often busy environment. No degree is required, however, preference will be given to those that have at least one year of experience in medical billing as well as thorough understanding of health insurance. Successful candidate will also be well organized and have strong communication skills when working with doctors and other administrators.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday Business Hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
