Bartram Electric is Hiring an Electrical Apprentice Near Columbia, TN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. In this role, you will work alongside experienced electricians to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about electrical work and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

- Organize material and inventory

- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs

- Assist with high voltage and low voltage wiring installations

- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Basic knowledge of electrical principles, concepts, and material

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and work in various weather conditions

- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians

- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

- Previous experience or coursework in electrical or related field

- Familiarity with commercial electrical systems

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
