THIS IS AN OUTDOOR JOB. The field crew technician will work as part of a two-person survey crew, collecting data for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking. Work is in the DFW area. Some sites require brush cutting, digging, setting stakes, and other manual labor. Experience in construction or other manual labor is a plus. 40-55 hours per week with overtime pay. There are ample opportunities for advancement. The majority of our crew chiefs started as technicians, and were promoted from within. Starting pay is $18-24 per hour, depending on experience.
BCS specializes in engineering surveys, topographic surveys, platting, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and boundary surveys. The ideal candidate will have experience in the majority of the above disciplines. Experience with Trimble robotic and GPS is a plus.
