Overview:

Responsibilities:

• This role will specialize in generator installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Wiring and configuration of generator stand-by/emergency backup systems.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs for various generator mechanical operations.
• Execute work in an organized, safe, and effective manner to meet job schedule and expectations.
• Maintain upkeep of material & equipment.
• Responsible for safe-working conditions & safety procedures while on the job site.

Experience:

• Strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Able to work and manage in a fast-paced team environment.
• Electrical Licensure – 2 years minimum.
• Generator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs - 4 years minimum.
• Self-starter with attention to detail & ability to manage a constantly changing environment.
• Experience & knowledge of both air-cooled & liquid-cooled generators 6kw – 200kw .
• Diesel generator installation, maintenance, & troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.

Requirements:

• Electrical CT E2 or E1 license.
• MA Journeyman license.
• Valid Driver’s license & clean driving record.
• Background check required.
• Generator Certification (Kohler and/or Generac preferred-not limited to).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
