Bartholomew County Youth Services Center is a provider of programs and opportunities for troubled and at-risk youth from social services, welfare agencies and juvenile courts. With an emphasis on evidence-based practices and positive skill development. Our organization is respected by industry experts as a highly effective solution for our youth.

What You'll Do

As a Youth Care Worker, you'll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program, and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the youth. You'll monitor and document youth behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of programming.

There is no previous experience required for this role (it is preceded). Training will be provided.

To Be Considered, You Should

  • Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
  • Be willing and available to work second shift (2:45PM-10:45PM).
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a desire to work with youth with opportunity.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
