Barta | Goldberg, a boutique civil litigation firm with an emphasis in business, entertainment and hospitality seeks a second or third-year associate who will assist in all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial to post-trial matters, including conducting legal research, drafting briefs and motions, drafting, and responding to discovery, as well as defending and taking depositions. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, exceptional research, analysis, and writing skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates should be confident, organized, and self-motivated, and should approach and conduct their work with thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The associate is expected to become an integral, valued member of the firm, and should be prepared to perform meaningful, hands-on legal work starting from day one.
