Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, sales, and training Team Members, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

Duties:

· Assist the Store Manager with Sales & Operations

· Provide scheduling, training, and development for sales associates and cashiers

· Promote Customer Service as THE #1 PRIORITY thru observing, monitoring and coaching associates' performance and interactions on the sales floor

· Maintain accurate inventory at all stores thru on-hand integrity and receiving while adhering to best practices, metrics and deadlines

· Work on your professional development through leadership training opportunities

· Use huddles, communication boards, texts, and store meetings as the means to communicate the store’s performance, and educate, engage and motivate the team

· Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

Requirements:

· Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach

· Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

· Ability to provide motivation and leadership to associates storewide in a fair and impartial manner

· High degree of analytical skills, and the ability to delegate and be self-directed

· Minimum 1 year experience in retail management service is preferred

· Knowledge of inventory control and merchandising principles is a plus

· Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

· Possess a valid in-state driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards

· Technically skilled in basic retail computer systems including related software

The minimum physical requirements for this position include:

· Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties

· Move and handle merchandise 40 pounds or more, and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth
