Job Title: Memory Care Facility Cook

> 4. Monitor food inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
> 5. Collaborate with dietary staff and healthcare professionals to accommodate special dietary requirements and individual preferences.
> 6. Adapt recipes and cooking techniques to meet the unique needs and challenges of residents with memory loss or cognitive decline.
> 7. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage of food, utensils, and equipment.
> 8. Assist with dining room setup, serving meals, and cleaning up afterward to ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents.
> 9. Participate in staff training and meetings to stay updated on best practices, safety protocols, and resident care guidelines.
> 10. Foster a supportive and respectful atmosphere that promotes the well-being and dignity of residents living with memory impairments.

> 1. Previous experience working as a cook in a healthcare setting, preferably in a memory care facility.
> 2. Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for older adults, particularly those with memory impairments or cognitive decline.

> 4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with residents, family members, and other staff members.

> 6. Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust meal plans or cooking techniques as needed.
> 7. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots or trays when necessary.
