General Carpentry and Construction Maintenance Technician (CapEx)

Growing property management company looking for a qualified, enthusiastic General Carpentry and Construction Maintenance Technician to join our winning team. All candidates must have good customer and team communication skills as well as possessing a positive attitude! 

Qualifications:

• Willingness and ability to do many different things.
• Experience in demolition, construction, repairs/maintenance in a residential setting.
• General framing, drywall, painting, and LVP flooring installation.
• Light Plumbing, Electrical & other skilled trades a plus.
• Vinyl siding and metal bending experience a plus.
• Carpentry and masonry a plus.
• Experience in use of equipment such as scaffolding, powered lifts, snow plowing a plus.
• General construction and/or maintenance background.

All candidates are required to have a clean and valid NYS Driver’s License and a reliable means of transportation to work.

Candidates should be comfortable performing these and related undertakings with minimal supervision and able to work independently.

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• General Electrical: 2 years (Preferred)
• General Plumbing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Painting: 2 years (Preferred)
• Flooring installation: 2 years (Preferred)
• Apartment turns: 2 years (Preferred)
• Building maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

NYS Driver's License (Required)

Travel:

Travel between project sites within the Syracuse region during business hours. No overnight travel.
