We are looking for a Full Time Worker's Compensation/Motor Vehicle Accident Intake Specialist to join our team. The majority of this position is responsible for processing information between Barrington Orthopedic Specialists and work comp insurance adjustors, case managers and patients. The coordinator requests authorizations, schedules procedures for patients and provides necessary information to adjustors and insurance carriers. This position would involve intake and post follow up care. 

This position requires someone that is detailed orientated, well organized and has great customer service skills, especially when communication via phone. We need a true professional that is skilled in developing and cultivating working relationships with stakeholders. 

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service/communication with patients over the phone. 
• At least 1 year in a healthcare setting, working with patients with open workers compensation and motor vehicle claims.
• At least 1 year of experience working on authorizations for treatment from workers compensation adjusters.
• Experience with Independent Medical Examinations is a plus. 
• Bilingual is a plus.
