Barrington James is Hiring a Quantum Engineer Materials Development Near Canada, KY
Job Description Quantum Materials Engineer required to be a key member of the silicon qubit development team responsible for improving the performance of qubit architectures.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy innovative materials processing techniques to optimize qubit performance.
Measuring spin coherence for silicon-based qubits.
Work closely with the Photonic nanofabrication team
Generate patents and peer-reviewed articles to communicate advancements as applicable.
Provide training, and mentorship to existing and new team members.
Requirements:
Master's or PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
Expertise at the interface of condensed matter physics and quantum science.
Knowledge of thin film growth methods and metrology techniques for crystal quality.
Experience conducting optical measurements at cryogenic temperatures.
