Barrett Petfood Innovations is Hiring a Quality technician 1st Near Little Falls, MN

We make Premium pet foods starting with the wholesome ingredients straight from the family farm. We are growing fast and have many opportunities for advancement.

We are currently adding a position for a Quality Technician in our Little Falls Plant. Job Duties Ensures and verifies that all plant departments and employees are adhering to the quality standards and guidelines of the company.

Takes samples, tests, records, and reports basic physical, chemical, and biological properties of ingredients, formulations, packaging, and other associated material, leading to their acceptance, approval, or disposition.

Monitor the departmental efficiency, testing and approval times, yields, scrap loss, and other key indicators. Teaches, instructs, and leads plant employees in issues regarding sanitation.

Accurately prepares and maintains all departmental forms and documents. Monitors the completion of paperwork by other departments, emphasizing optimum record keeping within all plant areas.

Job Requirements Follow GMP’s and safety protocols. Basic math, biology, and chemistry knowledge is required. Attention to detail.

Team effort and communication Must be able to lift 40 pounds occasionally. Hours 1st Shift - 6am - 2 : 30 pm Monday - Friday Salary : $20 per hour Benefits Employer paid medical insurance.
